Rates & Reservations

Every guest enjoys exclusive registered admittance to the historic 100 year old Flying U Guest Ranch, a gated and fenced community of 500 acres of private land. The Flying U is Canadas oldest Ranch centered by a heritage western town of 44 buildings that date back to 1849. The grounds are rolling hill, forests, and pastures that border 60,000 acres and 200 kilometers of trails that date back to the Alaska /Yukon wagon trail of early 1800. The Flying U is on the shore of Green Lake. The 22 kilometer freshwater lake that has been described as the most beautiful lake in the Cariboo. The ranch is fully staffed with 30 wranglers and hospitality staff who look after 100 specially trained riding horses and the old western activities .

Platinum Rates Include:

  • Daily riding with the largest riding herd in western Canada

Platinum Plus Rates Include:

Designed for guests who have never been to the ranch before (or have not been in over 2 years) and for those who wish to ride but have never been on a horse or are unable to safely ride. This package includes 2 - 2 to 3 hour instructional rides per day in addition to the above amenities.

Gold Rates Include:

For those that prefer not to ride, you get all the same access as the riders except for the horseback riding. If you change your mind during your stay, you can always add horseback riding to your package for a fee (subject to horse availability).  
 

Policy of Cabin and Horse Requests 

Cabin and horse requests will be honoured when possible but are not guaranteed
 

Deposit:

  • $250.00/person for deposit to hold with full cancellation refund up to 90 days before reservation

Age Minimums For Riding:

  • Children 10 years of age and older may ride a horse on their own without being ponied. 

  • Children between the ages of 5 and 9 must be ponied by a wrangler or an experienced rider only.

Wrangler

Multiple Stay Discounts:

  • Receive 10% off your second stay in the same year

  • Receive 25% off for your third stay in the same year 

Discount is not valid during wrangler week.

Ambassador Program

Have a friend or friends who have never been to the ranch? Bring them with you and receive 10% off your stay with our referral program. Not valid during wrangler weeks.

Cancellation Policy:

You may cancel anytime up to 90 days before your reservation date for a 100% refund of your deposit. 

You may cancel anytime up to 90 - 30 days prior to your reservation date for a deposit transfer useable for 12 months (deposit is no longer refundable).

If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival date your deposit will be forfeited. 

 

All refunds will be applied to the original card. No exceptions. 

 

If we are evacuated or are unable to open due to an act of nature out of our control or due to government restrictions regarding COVID 19 then your deposit will automatically be extended for a period of 12 months at the same rate and terms. Deposit refunds will not be issued.

 

If we are under a wildfire alert then it is business as usual at the Flying U. Should you decide not to visit during an alert then your deposit will automatically extended for a period of 12 months at the same rate and terms. Deposit refunds will not be issued.
