Lodge and Saloon Manager
The lodge and saloon manager is responsible for staff hiring, general discipline and decorum of his/her staff.
Responsible for Ranch Covid Procedures. Must be knowledgeable of our written protocol, placement of signs, training of staff. Must have competent person in charge on days off.
Responsible for BC Liquor serving it right rules and staff training.
Responsible for health and safety procedures in kitchen and lodge.
Greeting guests and looking after their issues at the lodge.
Weekly staff schedules.
Maintaining weekly staff meetings.
Maintenance of liquor licences and health certificates.
Alcohol orders and security of alcohol in inventory.
All Special Events weddings schools and corporate retreats meals
Must be on duty evening meals and bar service front of lodge 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm daily.
We are looking for cooks of various experience for the 2022 season. This is a fast paced environment, preparing meals for up to 100 people per sitting. We are looking for candidates who have excellent track record from prep to senior cooks. We provide excellent wage and on-site accommodation if required.
Our wranglers must be able to catch and saddle horses quickly and correctly. Riding and training experience is required. Our wranglers are responsible for starting and training unbroke horses, putting trail miles on green horses and tuning up horses that develop bad habits as needed. You will be required to take out trail rides for new guests to evaluate their abilities. Must be able to provide basic equine first aid. A certification in first aid is required.
Our servers are responsible for setting up and cleaning up after meals and maintaining the cleanliness of the lodge and interactions with the guests during mealtime. Serving experience is not required as training will be provided. All servers must take an online Serving It Right course before starting.
Our housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and preparing the cabins for when the new guests arrive. Experience is not required as we will provide the training. Must be physically fit as this job keeps you on your feet for most of the day.
This is a new position just created. You will be required to do lifeguard duties and teach swimming. You will be required to operate the motorboats, take guests tubing, and also instruct water skiing. The waterfront director will teach canoeing and sailing.
