        | Kids of all ages finish up the program having learned about horses, ranching and themselves. The instruction includes horseback riding, horse care and a real day at the Gymkhana Grounds, competing in barrel races. The school programs are geared toward education and team building and have a Native Studies aspect where the children learn about the history of the Shuswap band. The children also participate in the work of ranch life, helping with dishes or cleaning facilities. Traditionally, they put on a talent show and on the last night of their stay, they dance to a live band. $320 per person plus GST.
