Location. Located about 12 miles east of 70 Mile House, British Columbia, on the north shore of Green Lake, the Flying U Ranch provides an ideal rustic setting for a working cattle ranch. The Flying U property consists of rolling hills with wild flowers and an equal mix of evergreen and aspen trees. The property is on the Fraser Plateau with a view of the Marble Mountains to the west. Riders will discover meandering trails around many small lakes and ponds. Guests are provided with a trail map to outline the most popular routes for short, half-day and full-day excursions. Get Here by Driving, Bus or Plane Scenic Drive from Vancouver (5 hours.) Take highway #1 east to Cache Creek, continuing north on highway 97. Turn right at 70 Mile House, go 8KM ( 5 miles ) and take the left turn and continue 13KM ( 8 miles ) to the Ranch. Take the Greyhound Bus to 70 Mile House.
