Seattle Times | 100 Horses are available for riding and hay rides at the Ranch. Unlike most guest ranches where riders remain on a single path, The Flying U invites you to enjoy long, unsupervised wilderness trail riding among hills and lakes. Ride out after breakfast and come back by noon for lunch or let us pack you a lunch so you can ride all day until 4:00 pm. This 15 mile, fresh water lake offers canoeing, swimming, and fishing during the summer months. Canoes, paddles and life jackets are provided. Hikers, bird watchers and photographers will find a wealth of beautiful scenery and wildlife. Discover moose, deer, rabbits, eagles and, of course ranch cattle and horses roaming over beautiful grasslands. Stop in for a drink at the Longhorn saloon, take in a movie in our 60 seat Black Horse Theater, learn to Square Dance, or join other guests for weekly dances with live band. Children are welcome at the Flying U Ranch and usually participate with their parents in most activities. Baby-sitting service is available.
